I'm Bruce Thompson of Thompson Property Inspection, LLC.  First of all, thank you for pausing long enough to read this page.  I realize you are looking for home inspector and choosing the right home inspector in the East Texas area can be difficult.  Unlike many professionals, you more than likely will not meet me until we are doing a walk through on your potential home.  Though we are licensed by the State of Texas, different inspectors have varying qualifications, equipment, experience, reporting methods, and, yes, different pricing.  From your perspective, all home inspectors appear to be the same.  So what makes a home inspector in Tyler different from any of the other home inspectors in east Texas or in the Metroplex?

I am a one-inspector operation and take pride in my work.  While home inspectors do not provide code-based inspections on home purchases, I chose to study and take the required tests and am the only home inspector in East Texas that is code-certified by the International Code Council.  I enjoy learning as much about my profession as I can and take numerous hours of continuing education.  One thing for sure is that a home inspection requires work -- a lot of work. Ultimately, a thorough inspection depends heavily on the individual inspector’s own effort.
